Northside Mustang Car Club or (NMCC) is a group of automotive enthusiasts dedicated to the preservation, care, and enjoyment of Mustangs from the 64 1/2 to the present day models. NMCC is managed by a board of directors and members, all of which are from different parts of the Conroe and Houston area.  NMCC has been around since June 2009 and became a Regional Charter Member of Mustang Club of American in October of 2010.

The primary function of the NMCC is to provide owners and supporters of the Ford Mustang an atmosphere of camaraderie and a place for members to show off their Mustangs at local and national car show events, cruise-ins, and learn all about their Mustang all within a family-friendly environment.  NMCC has also  has a High Performance Driving Team, Drag Racing Team that participates in events in Texas, Oklahoma and neighboring states.  We have something for everyone to enjoy.

Gullo All Ford Show Date Coming soon, stay tuned for updates

 NMCC Charity

Today (12.11.2020) the NMCC board of directors had the pleasure and honor to present Mr. Gullo and Sparky Gullo a check for $4,000 for the “Gullo Christmas for Kids” charity program. Gullo Ford is our valued sponsor for NMCC, of which our club has a very close relationship. NMCC’s efforts and fundraising work go towards supporting Gullo charities, which include Gullo Christmas for Kids which was started by Mr. Tony Gullo in 1992. The goal of this program is to make life better for less fortunate families during the Christmas holidays. Every year as a part of this program, 50+ selected families are treated to a personal party at the dealership with food, activities, and fun events for the kids and their families. Each child gets see and tell Santa what they want for Christmas, in addition to each family being presented with a gift card, ham for Christmas dinner, and a Christmas tree with decorations.
Today’s donation was made possible by our hugely successful Gullo Ford Fall Show on November 7, 2020 in which we had over 100+ cars registered for the event, in addition to numerous items from our silent auction which sold at premium prices, NMCC merchandise sales, and our 50/50 effort in which the winner (Stephanie Bane) donated the winnings back to Mr. Gullo’s charity.
Today’s presentation to the Gullo family was special for us as this is what our club is about – which is performing charitable efforts to make a positive impact on other’s lives in our community while enjoying each other and our Ford Mustangs. Please know that we value all of you as members or supporters for our organization. You have helped contribute to make this Christmas truly specia
l for 50+ families. Thanks to all of you!

Mustang Fun Facts

Picture
The rise in power of domestic cars during the 1980s brought the first real performance numbers to the Mustang range in almost 20 years. The Fox-body Mustang grew more powerful with each model year, starting from 175 HP in the 1983 model. By the late ’80s, the venerable 5.0-liter V8 engine had 225 HP and 300 lb-ft of torque. It translated to quite competent 0 to 60 mph times (6.7 seconds). This car marked a return to the Mustang’s roots with a strong V8 engine and exciting performance. Also, the late ’80s Fox-body GT was popular, so they are plentiful today. And that makes them a great choice for entry-level collectors. On the other hand, the aftermarket for those cars is enormous, so you can modify and make your Fox-body GT even faster easily and affordably.
